The mother of all battles takes place in Mozambique. In Africa, peace doesn’t come easy - for man or beast. In the southern country of Mozambique, twenty years of civil war has left the nation devastated. The war is finally over – but there’s a surprising new army afoot. These may be elephants; angry elephants. Elephants who watched their families gunned down for meat and ivory. Elephants that now may be out for revenge: charging humans, knocking over vehicles and homes, even killing in cold blood. A brother and sister team - a scientist and a filmmaker – travel to Mozambique to make a difference. To help local rangers decode these elephants’ behaviour and bring peace to the land.
