There 2800 known species of snakes in the world and when it comes to the world's longest snake the undisputed champ is the reticulated python. And it's massive- growing to lengths of more than 30 feet and weighing in excess of 300 pounds. This super snake is stealthy, intelligent and very strong - with a pedigree steeped in legend. Pythons capture prey by slow stalking - or ambush. We film as biologist Joe Wasilewski goes out into the Everglades National Park area and hunts for large invasive Burmese pythons. A recent discovery of an ancient distant ancestor suggests snakes could get a whole lot bigger. Is it possible under the right conditions, the python could reach these nightmarish proportions? In How Big Can It Get? Snakezilla we find out.
