Although his iconic words are known throughout the world, the man behind them has long remained a mystery. The Armstrong Tapes uses interviews with his only authorized biographer, friends, and family members, as well as archival audio tapes of interviews conducted with Armstrong himself, to craft an intimate look at one of the world's greatest and least-understood heroes.
