DESCRIPTION

Adolf Hitler writes in 1924: "A stronger race will drive out the weak races." No one would predict Hitler will become dictator of Germany the Führer. In the trenches during the Great War of 1914-1918, the failed artist and loner will discover his mission: to save Germany. At first, for most Germans, Hitler is simply a deluded crank on the margins of German political life. The turning point is the 1929 economic crisis. Fearing chaos and the "Reds," the Germans vote in large numbers for Hitler. The young democracy is in danger and no one is left to defend it. The Nazi dictatorship spreads its pitiless shadow over Germany. Hitler claims he wants peace, yet he prepares for war the Apocalypse.
