Synopsis

Building on the ratings success of Bloody Tales of the Tower, this spin-off series offers a raft of fresh, new examinations and insights into some of history's bloodiest events but on a far bigger scale and across a much greater landscape. Historian Dr Suzannah Lipscomb and journalist Joe Crowley will again combine their skills to unlock the secrets behind lurid tales of murder, torture, death and incarceration but now theyll be making dramatic revelations not just within the confines of the Tower of London, but all over Europe in Italy, Spain, Scandanavia, Ireland, Holland, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Austria and France.
