Season 13
Master mechanics Fuzz Townshend and parts-blagging petrol head Tim Shaw are back for a brand new season of the fan favourite show Car S.O.S. The comedy duo have their work-cut out as they embark on more undercover missions rescuing classic cars and returning them in a surprise reveal to their much deserving owners. This season starts with a exhaust bang, as Tim and Fuzz are on a special mission to rescue a unique classic racing car and reunite it with a true racing legend...Sir Stirling Moss! But this 1962 Austin Healy Sebring Sprite, that once raced in a team that included Sir Stirling Moss, isn't in a fit state. But the guys have a plan to get this car back on the racetrack and Sir Stirling Moss back in the driving seat. Fuzz begins work in the garage whilst Tim goes in search of the original engine, and also finding time along the way to have a sit down with the racing legend himself. Will the Sprite be ready in time for Sir Stirling Moss to take it out for a spin? The guys also come across a supercar that's begging to be taken back to the swinging '60s, the Jaguar E-type. But the car's owner Mick is suffering from osteoporosis and has lost all hope that his beloved car will ever be back to its full glory. But Tim and Fuzz are working with Mick's family in secret to restore the car and give Mick a brilliant surprise. But when they discover it's a back to metal restoration this car looks like it's going to be more of a head-ache than a head-turner. Other cars festering away waiting for the guy's attention are Tim's all-time favourite: the Audi Quattro Turbo, the 3 wheeled 1934 Morgan F4, a retro 1982 Mk1 GTI and a 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR. So start up those engines, as Tim and Fuzz return this month for the ultimate car show with a heart.
