Synopsis

National Geographic adventurer and photographer Ben Horton, teams up with emerging Chinese explorers for an intrepid journey to three remote locations in search of communities that are not just surviving but thriving in extreme environments. Ben is on a mission to photograph the dynamic relationship between these people and nature, but he's not going alone. He will venture into China's formidable landscape with Dou Dou - a free diver, Liu Yong - an expedition leader and Liu Yongbang - one of China's best climbers.
