Synopsis

To tell the story of each weather mutation, “Mutant Weather” highlights devastating recent events through firsthand survivor accounts and heart-stopping archives. Interviews with top climate experts and those on the front lines provide authoritative information and context with animated graphics offering visual explanations. From increasingly powerful hurricanes to ferocious wildfires to tornadoes destroying unexpected places to rapid melt and rising water levels to destructive weather patterns and shocking rogue phenomena, climate change is still accelerating at an alarming rate, faster than anyone had predicted. The not-so-distant future could hold a terrifying reality—mutant weather.
