Synopsis
The discovery of Tutankhamuns tomb in 1922 made headlines across the world sparking a global frenzy for Ancient Egypt. Crammed inside were over priceless artifacts of every type from gold slippers to finely tooled daggers, the remains of chariots and the boy kings show-stopping solid gold death mask. But over the decades since the discovery, many of the pharaohs priceless grave goods have disappeared into museum basements and archives across Egypt. For the first time since they were discovered, all 5398 of tutankhamuns treasures are being brought together in a new one-billion-dollar museum. This is the first time many of them have been seen for a century. Scientist using the latest imaging and forensic technology will unlock long buried mysteries and reveal the man behind the mask.
