Synopsis

Majestic animals we deem beautiful are well documented. Then there's the other animals, the aesthetic outsiders we don't consider cute or cuddly. The animals selected by natural selection to be beaten with the ugly stick and having “World’s Weirdest Animal Faces." This is their time to shine. A celebration of respectable irreverence, revealing the extraordinary features these creatures possess who seem to be horribly disfigured but are in fact perfectly evolved, just very ugly.

Ugly By Design

You don't have to be physically attractive to be well adapted. Evolution has bestowed upon them physical traits we find quite ugly, but the weirdest of traits in nature are almost always functional, allowing the creature to thrive in their environment.
