Monet's son Richard wrote in to Car SOS in the hope that the team could give a new lease of life to his Dad by stealing the car away and surprising him with a fully restored motor. The boys oblige and set to task on what turns out to be one of the most heartwarming stories and certainly most beautiful, finished cars to date.

And across the country, in drought-stricken central California, primitive hunter Gabriel sets his sights on small game. Disappointed with the results at first, his luck soon changes.

    Tim & Fuzz head to Cambridge to rescue a big cuddly and cherished Range Rover. The Range Rover represented a huge change of gear for Land rover in 1970 when it was introduced. A big, comfortable car that was as smooth as a big saloon but could easily keep up with a Land Rover across a muddy field. The later 1991 Range Rover Vogue that Tim & Fuzz collect symbolized freedom and happy days for Margaret, her husband and their family. Used to tow their caravan all over the UK, this 4 wheel drive was always dependable that durable. Now a sad reminder of better times, the car is in desperate need of some TLC; Enter CarSOS. Fuzz stresses when he realizes the whole car is tired, rusty and likely to be a world of parts finding pain. For Tim it's a challenge he cant resist, coming up with the blag of his life to make this big project possible. The biggest challenge of all though is making the car accessible for Margaret who, with her disability getting worse, has started to really struggle to climb on board the tall car. Fuzz and Tim decide the way forward is to fit a whole new adjustable air suspension system. Finding a way to fit that in among the crowded body shell as well as overhauling tired major components such as both front and rear axles, keeps Fuzz flat out for days. Tim meanwhile sets out to find out how to make the best veneer in the country. All this, plus replacement parts in every other nook and cranny of this complex car, plus the usual spectacular paint job, result in a massive transformation. But will Margaret think a showroom rebirth is the right thing to do to her beloved car, and what has Fuzz been up to?
