  The nautical event SAIL is visiting the capital. For the Amsterdam Central Station team, this is one of the busiest days of the year. While René monitors the influx of travelers, Menno and Baran are busy dealing with the many unwell and aggressive visitors. Gusta visits a historic steam locomotive at the station.

• Beneath the Surface

  While field workers Marieke and Fikret tend to the approximately one hundred homeless people staying at the station, enforcement officers Menno and Baran are busy dealing with an aggressive can collector. Manager Mike shows off the world's largest underground bicycle parking facility on the day the "orphaned bikes" are collected.

  It is the Amsterdam Dance Event - the world's largest electronic music festival, bringing 500,000 dance enthusiasts into the city. While night conductor Errol rides along on a special DJ train, safety and service staff Menno and Baran are busy dealing with a troublemaker who is under the influence.

  As the city marks its 750th anniversary, the Station stands at the heart of the celebrations. Ticket & Service employees Gusta and Alexandra soak up the anniversary atmosphere, as heavy autumn showers begin to disrupt services. When heavy rain rages across Amsterdam, rail workers race against the clock to replace worn rails.

• Winter Chaos

  Christmas is a time of cheer at Amsterdam Central Station. While the station is bathed in Christmas cheer, the Control Rooms are in code orange. A stationary train is causing delays at the station. The Safety & Service team is busy with one incident after another. To make matters worse, a snowstorm brings the station to a complete standstill.

  On King's Day, it's all hands-on deck for the staff at Amsterdam Central Station. While Menno and Carolien resuscitate a girl, the rest of the team tries to control the chaos at the station.

• Lost and Found

  While the new railway bridge is being installed, Security & Service employees Carolien and Zoë are helping two asylum seekers who got lost on their way.
