Wild Detectives

Synopsis

National Geographic's Wild Detectives recasts the society's renowned researchers as detectives, who use state-of-the art technology and keen observations to solve intriguing mysteries about wild animals. Can we help Puff the monk seal find her missing mom? What secret is Cecelia the brown bear keeping deep in the woods? Why does Scratchy the humpback whale blow all those bubbles before it's time for dinner? By attaching cameras to wild animals and using satellite tracking and other tools, we collect clues that allow an enthusiastic band of children, as well as viewers, to crack these cases. In the process we reveal fascinating insight into the behavior or wild creatures and the need to protect them and their habitats.
