Vohne Liche Kennels is a K-9 training facility for specialized police and military service dogs. This week the pressure is on Bobby to make sure the Special Forces troops are ready to graduate from Vohne Liches dog handling program. Meanwhile, Kenny and the guys are away conducting police training as well as honoring a fallen officer. Kenny challenges KC to learn rappelling, and before the end of the day one of them ends up in the hospital.
At Vohne Liche, a new group of soldiers are paired up with their dogs and taught to detect bombs under an "explosive scenario." Kenny gets concerned when one dog shows signs of post-traumatic stress. Meanwhile, KC causes his own flare-ups, when he shows up late and gets into an altercation with a client.
K9s4Cops, a charitable organization that buys canines for police departments who cant afford them, stops by Vohne Liche Kennels with a client looking for a new dog. When the guys discover this dog must be able to work in the water, its up to Bobby and Luther to get the dog ready, or VLK may lose all of K9s4Cops future business. Meanwhile, Kenny, Danny and KC work with Charlie Fourkiller, a Kokomo Police Officer training to be a dog handler. Kenny is pleased with Charlies progress during bite training, and invites him to come along on a drug bust to gain some real-life experience.
Kenny is interested in growing an Executive Protection branch at VLK to supply dogs for celebrities, athletes, and other high-end clients. He thinks he has found the right guy for the job in Wade Morrel, but Wades arrogant attitude could come back to bite him literally. Meanwhile, Kenny gets a list of 28 dogs that his trainers claim need to be returned to Europe.
Kenny meets with his GM Dennis, who trained a dog named Max to find cell phones. A cell-phone-sniffing dog can keep inmates from conducting activity outside of the jail on a phone that isnt monitored. In order to sell this dog, the VLK guys have to prove to Warren Hall, a representative from an inmate phone provider, that Max can find phones in a functioning jail facility.
Kenny and Danny travel to Terre Haute, IN to run live fire drills with the Terre Haute PD. During the training, one dog lashes out against a handler and bites his arm. Kenny takes the dog back to VLK to determine if the dog has issues with live fire. Meanwhile, Luther must train four green dogs to detect explosives for a T.E.D.D. class arriving next week. If thats not enough pressure, Kenny decides the gang cant go "Turtling" unless Luther finishes his training.
Wade has been hard at work preparing his first Executive Protection dog for Latricia Duke, one of the top horse trainers in the country. There's only one problem Wade is deathly afraid of horses. Bobby comes to his aid to make sure that this dog and Wade- are comfortable working around horses.
Wade takes Kenny to a dog sport trial in Michigan to look at dogs that are for sale. Wade promises Kenny that he will see at least 10 dogs to buy. When they get to Michigan, nothing goes according to plan, and Wades head may be on the chopping block. Meanwhile, Danny, Bobby, and Luther work on a large sign for Big Lick Lake for Kennys birthday
Kenny oversees the construction of a state-of-the-art kennel being built at VLK. But issues with construction are delaying the progress, and Kenny has to light a fire under his crew to complete the kennels in time for the upcoming K9 Olympics. Meanwhile, two members of the Oahu Police Department in Hawaii stop by VLK to pick up a money-detection dog.
VLK is hosting the 13th annual K-9 Olympics this week. The K-9 Olympics consist of various challenges, searches, and obstacles designed to show the capabilities of the participants dogs. Kenny is hoping to finally be able to relax and enjoy the Olympics this year.

Kenny and Danny meet with two dog handlers from the Logansport PD. Logansport wants to run their first Drug Interdiction Detail, where officers set up a fake checkpoint to wait for people avoiding the checkpoint on a rarely used road. The handlers invite Kenny and Danny along to supervise the dogs out on the interdiction and make sure everything goes well in a new environment.
Bobby and Danny oversee a new cop class at VLK. These inexperienced police handlers from various departments are paired up with trained police K9s. This allows the officers to catch up to the experience level of the dogs, and strengthen the team as a whole. But one officer isn’t willing to play ball, and Bobby and Danny have to lay down the law.
