Synopsis

Dr. Oakley is back for a 6th season of seeing pets and saving the wild animals in her backyard.

  • Blazing Bison

    +

    Time is of the essence as Dr. Oakley races to diagnose a cat with an extreme bladder issue. But this mystery problem might have her calling for backup. A farm well equipped for handling cattle needs some help from Dr. Oakley to test out a new system for some rowdy bison. The dog days are back as Dr. Oakley hosts a drive thru vaccination clinic. Dr. Oakley checks on two ferrets as well as two German Shepherds with ailments common to their breeds.

  • Bears On A Plane

    +

    Two bear cubs recovering from a harrowing experience need Dr. Oakley's expertise as they embark on a long journey to a new home. A cat's extreme mouth ulcers cause worry for its owner, but Dr. Oakley knows just what to do. What should be an easy surgery may just leave Rusty the Labrador Retriever breathless. Two baby goats are in need of castrations and Dr. Oakley and her daughters go swimming with horses.

  • No Horsing Around

    With winter quickly approaching, Dr. Oakley is busy working to prepare the animals of Alaska and the Yukon for the cold. Dental damage is no trouble for an old horse with a history of being a survivor. Another horse's mysterious nosebleed needs a deeper look.

  • Foal's Gold

    +

    It's all hands on deck as Dr. Oakley castrates a once wild stallion. Then, everyone holds their breath to see if the newly gelded horse succeeded in getting three mares pregnant before winter. What is thought to be a benign cyst on Curly the dog may be more serious than her owner thought.

  • Don't Poke A Sleeping Porcupine

    A young reindeer with many ailments needs Dr. Oakley's help to get back into fighting shape and an elderly porcupine poses a pokey problem.

  • The Stricken Chicken

    +

    Dr. Oakley sees two stubborn muskoxen and a particularly wily coyote. A badly burned dog receives an innovative, if fishy, new treatment.

  • One Clever Bison

    +

    While Dr. Oakley awaits a litter of puppies, she hits the road to treat a stubborn bison, and a moose with a respiratory issue. In the clinic, she checks a Great Dane's swollen leg.

  • Running With Reindeer

    +

    Dr. Oakley participates in a race pitting human runners against reindeer, five muskox undergo pregnancy tests, and Daisy participates in a family reunion.

  • The Miracle Dog

    +

    Dr. Oakley travels to the Williams Reindeer Farm to check on newborn reindeer calves, only to find that one of them is seriously ill. Then, Michelle and her team check on Clark the moose and run tests in hopes of curing his bad cough.

  • Porcupine Posse

    In the clinic, Dr. Oakley checks up on Bindi's pups to get them ready for adoption. Then she examines Harri the cat to find the root cause of her seizures. Finally she checks out Zoe the French Bulldog who has a cyst that turns out to be something else.

  • Squawk Off!

    Dr. Oakley travels off the grid and checks on Clovis, a prickly peacock. At Dev Hurlburt's farm, Dr. Oakley performs preg-checks on the herd and lets Sierra have a hands-on opportunity. Back at her clinic, Michelle races to diagnose what's ailing Bella the German Shepherd.

  • At The Cow Wash

    +

    While examining cattle at Dev Hurlburt's ranch, Dr. Oakley discovers that one cow is suffering from a nasty infection. Back at her clinic in Haines Alaska, everyone is on pins and needles as the doc performs eye surgery on therapy dog, Gauge.

  • The Big Bad Wolf

    Dr. Oakley, and her daughters Maya, Sierra and Willow, travel to the AWCC where they attempt to bond with a lone wolf.

  • Law of The Claw

    +

    At the clinic, Dr. Oakley and her daughters rush to save a Siberian Husky who has ingested a bottle of pills. Then they team up with Dr. Aimie Doyle to operate on a horse's leg, even though it may cause a life-threatening injury.

  • A Hoarse Horse

    +

    A baby muskox has a bad case of the runs, and Dr. Michelle Oakley needs to get to the bottom of it. She then goes to help a horse with walking and breathing problems, and makes time to visit a snuggly puppy while she's there. Her daughter Sierra finds a fox in need, and the whole family rallies together to give it a shot at survival.
