Polar Bear Invasion illustrates a production crew's journey into the subarctic to examine polar bears in their natural environment and investigate man's harmful impact on their populace. Its late fall and the Polar bears, who have spent their summer on land, can return to the ice floes where they hunt for fish and seals. They do not hibernate like other bears and in this part of the world winters are long and brutally cold. The polar bears must follow their centuries-old instincts to survive.
