We follow two prides and their respective females by day and by night, discovering astonishing behavioral patterns, many of which have never been seen before.
Lions, the rulers of the Savannah, are seen as being unbeatable as a pride. But even they have to fight every day for their lives. The pride located at the Ronkai River in the south of Kenya was able to ensure the safety of the majority of their offspring during the first dangerous months. But now, lean times face the animals: the huge wildebeest herds are now migrating south to the Serengeti.
