Grey wolves are canine counterparts to snow leopards in the Himalaya. Weighing about as much as a snow leopard, grey wolves are their direct competitors when it comes to hunting prey. After several weeks of setting up, monitoring and protecting camera traps, the shy and evasive cat was finally captured on film. Clouded leopards are known to rest high in the trees during the day and actively hunt under the cover of night. They are the smallest of the Big Cats and the patterns on their bodies, resembling dark clouds, earned them their name. This image is from India's Wild Leopards.
